Our involvement in this project was as a direct result of our previous work for D. Mason Developments on the Finchingfield barns. A young couple viewed one of the barns with a view to buying it but unfortunately could not arrange the sale of their property in time and the barn sold. They then requested our details through Derek Mason and we were able to work on their home. We combined some old and new elements. Oak framed doors, but no rails were used. We also opted for reconstituted stone tops as they had a more organic look and feel. We manufactured a dining table to go with the slab oak breakfast bar and bench seats. The fridge-freezer was given an opening in the wall for a flush look and feel. Finally, we fitted out the larder room with storage baskets below worktop height with full height shelving above.

Materials: American white oak / Birch ply / Reconstituted stone / Stainless steel
